Our Memento impression ring and pendant are personalised with your loved one’s fingerprint. Perfect for everyday wear, they symbolise enduring love and are a beautiful reminder of the everlasting bond you share.
Each unique ring and pendant is hand-crafted in our Johannesburg atelier in your choice of precious recycled silver or solid gold. The pendant is available standalone or accompanied by a chain of your choice.
How it works

Step 1. Order the memento ring or Memento pendant.Â
Once you’ve placed your order online, we’ll send out your kit right away using a reliable courier service. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to capture a perfect fingerprint or impression, along with easy-to-follow instructions to guide you every step of the way.
Step 2. cast your impressions
Ready to capture your unique fingerprint? Start by using our easy-to-use wax kit. Follow along with our step-by-step guide to make sure you get it just right. Once you’re done, simply let us know, and we’ll take care of the rest. A courier will swing by to pick up your kit and bring it back to Johannesburg atelier. There, our talented artisans will cast and craft your personalised pendant or ring.
Step 3. Gift your special person a timeless gift
Expect to receive your custom Memento pendant or ring within 10 business days after your kit arrives at our atelier in Johannesburg. We’ll work swiftly to craft your piece with care and precision.

FAQs
Use a hairdryer, heating the wax until it feels very pliable, you’re looking for the consistency of Prestik before you take the print. If you can see a print, it will turn out beautifully.
The wax we use has a very low melting point and cools rapidly, it will not harm delicate skin. Check out out our Useful Tips video to find out how to get the best imprint for infants.
Our manufacturing lead time is 2 weeks from when we receive your wax kit back.
Two waxes give you a second opportunity to get a good impression if necessary. We will select the best wax for casting.
It’s ok if your wax disk is uneven or, not perfectly round. The beauty is in the organic shape and we will refine the wax before we cast your piece of jewellery.
The goal is to get the best imprint possible, so we do not recommend imprinting on both sides of the wax disk. If you would like to take more than one fingerprint or impression you can order multiple pendants or rings when placing your order.
Absolutely, you can select the number of pendants you would like on the product page before checking out.
Chains are sold separately so you can select your preferred style and length. Should you wish to purchase a chain you can select your chain on our website.
A multisizer is included in every fingerprint kit. Check out our Useful Tips video to find out how to use the multisizer. Once you’ve found your ring size you can write the corresponding ‘letter’ on your information card.
A courier bag is included in the wax kit. Once you have taken your impressions, put everything back in the box. Seal the box in the waybill bag and send us an email. We will reply with the waybill number and will arrange collection.
Our atelier is in Parkhurst, Johannesburg. If you are in the area or are happy to travel, you are welcome to come to us and we can do it together. Please request a consultation in the notes section when placing your order.
