The unconventional princess cut, a relative newcomer to the diamond universe, created in 1981 by Betzalel Ambar and Israel Itskowitz. Described by the GIA as a square modified brilliant, this diamond cut exhibits a lot of brightness and can also be rectangular or tapered in shape. Imagine an upside-down pyramid, because much of the weight is in the pavilion a princess cut may appear smaller than another diamond of a different shape but of similar carat weight. The number of facets and the faceting arrangement on the pavilion and crown can vary widely, creating a wide variety in scintillation and sparkle.

Diamond-only products are priced based solely on the diamond you are currently viewing and do not include the cost of the ring design/ring setting. You can shop ring settings here.
When viewing a diamond-only product, it’s important to note that the price you see is exclusively for the diamond itself and does not include the ring setting design. To complete your ring, you must select a ring setting separately. This allows you to personalise your ring by choosing a design that suits your preferences, whether a classic solitaire setting, a halo setting, a three-stone setting, or any other ring style that complements your chosen diamond. This way, you can create a unique and customised piece of jewellery that reflects your taste and style.
A ring setting refers to the structure or framework in which a gemstone, such as a diamond, is securely placed. It plays a crucial role in not only holding the gemstone in place but also in determining the overall aesthetic and style of the ring. The ring setting encompasses the design and arrangement of metalwork, prongs, or bezels that cradle the gemstone.
